Your Data, Respected

Privacy Policy

Psynastry is built around personal reflection. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have over it.

Effective July 5, 2026

Who we are

Psynastry (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an online service that generates astrology charts and Enneagram-based personality insights for reflection and entertainment. This policy applies to the Psynastry website and related services.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in, we receive your email address and basic profile details through your chosen sign-in method (Google Sign-In or a one-time email “magic link”). We do not receive or store your Google password.
  • Birth data. To compute your chart, you may provide your date of birth, time of birth, and birth location. We treat this as sensitive personal information.
  • Quiz responses. Answers you give to the Enneagram quiz, used to produce your personality results.
  • Technical data. Standard, privacy-respecting analytics such as aggregated page views and performance metrics, collected to keep the service reliable. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

How we use your information

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account.
  • To calculate your astrology chart and Enneagram results.
  • To save your profile so your readings are available when you return.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • To respond to your requests and support inquiries.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your birth data for advertising.

How your data is stored and protected

Account and profile data (including birth data) is stored in a managed database provided by Supabase. Access is protected by row-level security policies so that each user can only read and modify their own records. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the service:

  • Google Sign-In — optional authentication.
  • Supabase — authentication and database storage.
  • Cloudflare & Microsoft Azure — hosting, content delivery, and privacy-respecting performance analytics.

These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Your rights and choices

You can, at any time:

  • Access and update your profile and birth data from your account.
  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete your account and associated data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@psynastry.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Data retention

We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Children's privacy

Psynastry is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Not professional advice

Psynastry is provided for insight, reflection, and entertainment. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional guidance.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the service.
